Sufficient to say it was a resounding success not only from the financial point of view but also from the enjoyment by those who participated - no less than 102 golfers plus their family and friends with more joining us for lunch.

On behalf of the commitee of the Friends' Hospice Support Group, I write to thank you very much indeed for your support at the recent event held at the Marios Golf Park. It was a sweltering afternoon which, regrettably, put off a lot of potential golfers, but nevertheless, a number of stalwarts attended to make the whole afternoon and early evening a great success. We had over 20 craft stalls, children's entertainment and of course the 9 hole golf course and those who attended enjoyed themselves very much.
The Hospice benefitted to the tune of over 1,100 Euros and without your support, this would never have happened.

We have had a nightmare dealing with BancoSabadell and without going into all the details, Karen has helped when ever and where ever she could - our mails were always answered quickly and politely and she is a asset to your company. We do hope that you get this refund back from the banks - it is just terrible to see how inefficient they are and how little they care about customer relations. Not so with Abbeygate and we will certainly use your company again when we are next back in Spain. Having spent 35 years in the insurance industry and having had my own commercial brokerage in Central London for 25 of those years you can imagine how I feel about the current state of the motor insurance market. In particular, the inability to obtain guidance or advice from a ‘real person’. Needless to say, I have always preferred to have a broker on my side and the ability to have someone negotiate on my behalf. Albeit without underwriters as I knew them.
I came to Abbeygate some years ago, and received first class service from Gerard. Earlier this year my wife, Dee became ill and we had to return to the UK urgently. She was diagnosed with cancer and has had to undergo periods in hospital with a series of chemo sessions. During this period I returned to Spain to retrieve our car and after 90 days in the UK I recognised that unless I could have an extension to the green card we were going to be in trouble. I spoke to Toni Kelly who was cheerful, helpful and sympathetic. One way and another she extended the green card and the additional pressure was removed.
Chemo sessions ended late July and only last week after extensive tests were we advised that the cancer is gone. Dee has full energy restored and life is back to normal.
My purpose in writing is to let you know that I believe you have a great team. Clearly the culture is right and the client is treated as ‘coming first’. The ability to just speak to someone is such a relief and I wanted you to know that Toni and Gerard are doing excellent jobs which reflect well on you for setting the standards and in particular, on Abbeygate. Having a team that represents you well is what every business strives to achieve. Thank you.

I have always found your staff helpful when dealing with them. However, I felt I had to write to let you know how exceptional I think the service I have received from Craig has been. Nothing has been too much trouble, e mails have been responded to promptly and his telephone manner is outstanding
I was considering changing to another insurer this year but because of Craig's attitude have renewed my policy with yourselves.

I would just like to tell you how much I appreciated your efforts and the explanation given in an empathetic and understanding manner when explaining the complexity of UK registered vehicle insurance and how quickly and easily you can adapt the policy once the vehicle is transferred onto Spanish plates.
My current insurers of my other vehicles were nowhere near as polite, friendly and understanding of their customers requirements as I found you were. I would recommend your helpful approach to 'business' as a role model to your supervisors and Management in the future.

BUT I have to thank you all for the fantastic service your group of company's supplies.
I had to have a new windscreen fitted on my Mercedes and you paid with no hesitation and gave sound advice before Christmas. My Jaguar has only done about 120 kilometres since insured with you after waiting for a new gearbox and on a sunny day after Christmas I thought I would take her for a spin and you would never believe it but lost all drive again!
Your towing service was there within 45 minutes and we dropped off the car at the garage and he kindly gave us a lift up the hill home. I only have nothing but praise all around for everyone from quotes, to purchasing to after sales service, claims etc.

I felt compelled to write to you to congratulate your team at Abbeygate for the way they have handled a recent claim I had to make. Unfortunately I had an accident in my car (The fist in 28 years) which I was pretty embarrassed about. I had to make a claim through my insurance. The way in which Abbeygate/Trade wise and Premier body shop handled the claim was extremely sympathetic and professional. I would like to make a special mention to Maxine, Adian and a Lady in Trade wise who I can’t remember her name right now. They were all fantastic.
Aiden from Premier was also very professional and efficient. He called me exactly when he said he would and when I collected my car it was like brand new. They had cleaned the car inside and out after the repair.
I have always recommended Abbey Gate to all my clients over the years and having now received such fantastic service I’m glad I have. Just a note to say how impressed we were with the breakdown service. I telephoned them this morning and spoke to Marina who couldn’t have been more helpful and efficiently got things moving. The Grua arrived after approx. half hour, driven by Richard (Ricardo) who is obviously experienced in rescuing stranded vehicles and whose English is excellent.,
An added bonus is that after expecting an expensive repair, it was so simple, just an air lock in the fuel pipe which was soon remedied and it was back on the road.

I am writing to express my thanks on the way my claims was handled by Abbygate, Paphos regarding an accident involving my LandRover HZN673 in Drouseia. Unfortunately my vehicle ended up in a roadside ditch from where it had to be recovered, and then taken to 'Barry' ABC Motors, Paphos for assessment and repair.
Throughout the stages of assessment and repair by ABC Garage, your Paphos Office kept me advised of cost(s) and estimated date of collection. As an ex-police officer I have often been involved in dealings with insurance companies, many of which have left me far from impressed with the service shown towards their customers.
However, this was not the case with Abbygate, Paphos who settled my claim in a speedy and professional manner. I would particularly like to thank Pamela of your Paphos office who dealt with much of the claims process. Nevertheless I was impressed by the professional and courteous way others in the office also dealt with my enquiries.
I can also add I was naturally concerned about my vehicle, but needn't have been. In fact I was impressed with the high standard of finish achieved by ABC Garage.

I am taking the opportunity to thank you sincerely for the way you and your colleagues handled my claim for the accident in my Volkswagen EOS which was clearly my fault. It was the first time in 45 years driving that I had hit another car and I felt very stupid. When you first spoke to me you were more concerned that my wife and I were ok and not suffering any ill effects from the accident and any discussion about the vehicle was entirely secondary.
When I received correspondence suggesting that the accident was my fault and that it would not be worth defending the case in court there was no innuendo or suggestion that I was stupid and the point was made sensitively! My car was repaired to the highest standard and I received it back less than 10 days after the accident. I just wanted to let you know - irrespective of what the outcome of our claim is - what a fantastic service you provided my wife with today when she phoned in her first ever car accident claim.
My wife is in Mallorca as we speak. I was due to be with her there but work commitments prevented this, so I am in the UK.
After 66 years of life she today had her first ever car accident in Mallorca a few miles from where we live when we are there (CalaD'Or). There was lots of stuff going on as often happens at the scene of an accident with a local and a foreigner. When she spoke to me she was fragile and shaken. We sorted out what we needed to do and she phoned your office in Spain. Her prized BMW Z4 Roadster is a real mess apparently.
The lady who answered the phone and took her claim was superb. She did ALL the right things and focussed more on Juliet than the car "it's just a piece of metal". She was also superbly trained and is a real asset to your company. You just don't get this service these days......except from Abbeygate.
I usually spend the majority of my life complaining to my service providers - but in this instance I am delighted to say Thank you and please find out who she spoke to and commend her/promote her/thank her.
We only moved to you this year, and the decision to move to you was MY decision. I was so impressed with your team that the house insurance is now also with you.
You have already proved my decision to be right!!
